Karackalacking the Kode

 Why the weird title - well, I feel like I am embarking on something new and strange for me - trying a Trainer for better health.  Now, I would never, on my own, hire a trainer,  I have tried Noom, Weight Watchers and numerous other diets online but nothing really gets me motivated for more than a few days.  

So, my wonderful workplace, Title Alliance, got us a trainer, Coach Rami.  He is situated in Arizona and we will have phone calls, texts and zoom meetings with him.  It is still up to me though to do this.  

I found it interesting yesterday in our zoom meeting - I am still waiting for the handout, but I took notes.  He wants us to answer Why.  He said nail down your why.

I could be funny and give the Mensa answer to why, which is why not, but then it dawned on me, why not Bev?  

On the humorous side, I listened to Coach Rami at the office before I started my day, Trixie, my work bff, of course was listening to. Trixie who could eat a turkey dinner with a side of pie for lunch and not gain an ounce; gets all excited as soon as the zoom meeting is over. "WHAT'S YOU WHY BEV?!"  "You know it should be so you knees feel better,  or because you want to retire at 70 and you need to make it 7 more years.  or......  She was way more excited about this then me.  Then she tells me to stop parking in the handicap spot at start walking father in, which I did try to do when I was training for the virtual 5K.  I never succeeded in that.  

So, what is my why?  I say why not, why not give it a try.  I do want to loose some weight so the knees feel better, I do want to live longer.

One of the things I truly hate is to watch myself walk into work every morning. I see my reflection, and it is not my size that bothers me at all, it is the fact that I walk like an old lady.  Waddling with bad knees.  So I gyess that's my why.  I am tired of seeing the old broad.
